Winshare Thermal is a professional high powerheat sink manufacturer.In 2014, we began speeding up our progress of entering into the new energy vehicle industry. In order to enhance our R&D capability in the cooling technology for power battery packs and controllers of new energy cars, we started technological exchanges and cooperation with several scientific research departments. Recently, Winshare Thermal started thorough technological exchanges and activities with New Energy Automotive Engineering Research Institute, HeFei University of Technology.
In Sep. 19, 2014, Winshare Thermal's Director of R&D Department, Mou, Xing-Wen and Director of Marketing Department, Wang, Hai-Yan visited New Energy Automotive Engineering Research Institute, HeFei University of Technology. They carried out technological exchanges with Dr. Tang and several graduate students on new energy cars. For the three hours of discussions, they focused on the topic of cooling and the applications and approaches of electric car battery management systems and cooling of driving systems along with the characteristics and technology readiness level of new cooling materials in forced air cooled, typical water-cooled, and micro water-cooled products. We ended this technological exchange in a pleasant atmosphere and formed a consensus on the future collaboration direction and technological exchange level. We expected to jointly boost the development of new energy car technologies and both sides agreed on the intention of technical cooperation especially in the cooling fields for new energy cars. We expect to have more substantial progresses for both sides in the near future and proceed with thorough collaboration on the joint establishment of a heat sink research laboratory.
“The New Energy Automotive Engineering Research Institute is a dedicated scientific research organization in HeFei University of Technology. It was established by Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. and JEE Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. in Jul. 2009. Based on this foundation, Hefei municipal government approved the establishment of HeFei New Energy Automobile Engineering Research Institute in Oct. 2010.”。
The research institute holds the missions of making breakthroughs in the new energy car core technologies, product developments and industrialization, cultivation of graduate students, and providing local governments with services of new energy car demonstration and operations and industry developments.
Since their establishment, the Research Institute has obtained a series of research results on various aspects include the whole vehicle, key components developments and the breakthroughs of core technologies such as the IEV pure electric cars of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile, range-extended mixed power vehicles based on the Heyue car model, electric car motors and their controllers, battery management system, whole car controllers. We have established the development capabilities for the key technologies including whole vehicle control system, electric driving system, batteries and the management system, whole-vehicle positive integrated development, and thermal management.
By the end of 2013, the Research Institute has developed four generations of IEV pure electric cars and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd.has launched a total of 5351 pure electric vehicles. Among them, the permanent-magnet synchronous motors and relevant controllers that are developed independently for new energy vehicles have been widely used on new energy vehicles such as IEV electric cars.
The Research Institute has established extensive collaboration relationship with new-energy-car-related companies in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hefei, Wuhu, Wuhan, and Xiamen cities so as to undertake and complete a large number of scientific research development tasks. We are also collaborating with overseas colleges and research organizations such as theCenter for Automotive Research, United States Ohio State University andthe University of Michigan on the cultivation of talents, academic exchanges, and front-end technological developments and have achieved plentiful and substantial results.
